Several endangered animals seem to pace and move in their positions in the center and borders of this weaving.  The central figure is the Ko'oloa 'ula flower.   Images of the Mexican Grey Wolf, Wood Stork, and Blue-Tailed Mole Skink fill the center. Four Queen Alexandra's Birdwing butterflies are positioned at the corners with Oahu Tree Snails filling the border.  These images are a reminder that only a small number of these animals continue the life of their species in a world endangered by human progress.
